Susan Barnes Waldo

Susan Barnes Waldo, PHR, SHRM-CP, is the VP, Global Human Resources at Verdesian Life Sciences. Susan is a certified Human Resource professional with more than 25 years in human resources, accounting and business development. She has worked in both the private and public business sectors with a portfolio of industry types.

Prior to Verdesian, Susan was in the recruiting industry for many years. She spent three years as Branch Operations Manager at Express Employment Professionals, and she served as Human Resources Director for CGM Group as well as Southern Energy Management, Inc.

Susan earned her bachelor’s degree in Management from East Carolina University. She has been heavily involved with the Society of Human Resource Management, where she has served as a Mentor, Membership Chair, VP of Membership and Workforce Development Director for the Triangle (NC) chapter.
