Greg Sanford is Vice President of Sales for the Midwest Region of the U.S. for Verdesian. .

Greg Sanford has been involved in production agriculture for 10 years. After graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science he started out as an intern for Winfield under the regional agronomist for Michigan and Ohio running spray demo’s and plant nutrition trials. Greg spent four years in agronomy sales and management for Eaton Farm Bureau Coop in Charlotte, Michigan. Following his time their he spent five years with Winfield Untied in multiple roles with his most recent being Plant Nutrition and Performance DSM covering Michigan and Ohio. Greg has also worked in specialty crop and T&O roles focused on plant nutrition and soft chemistry.

Greg and his wife Alysa, own and operate a small centennial family farm in Rives Junction, Michigan. They raise corn, soybeans, wheat, hay, pumpkins, squash, and a small amount of livestock as well as 5 children. Greg sits on the board of directors for the county Conservation District and has been active in the county and state Farm Bureau and his church. The family enjoys traveling and spending their summers at a family cabin on Lake Michigamme in Michigan’s upper peninsula and their days there on the beaches of Lake Superior!
