Enhance nutrient uptake for increased yield with phosphite fertilizer

Developed by the University of California at Riverside, Nutri-Phite® sets the standard in phosphite nutrition. It enhances nutrient uptake to improve plant health and vigor, resulting in better plant nutrition, higher fruit solid content and improved stand opportunity and emergence, leading to increased yield potential and production.

Nutri-Phite’s patented organic acids help to slow the conversion – or oxidation – of PO3, making more phosphorus available to the plant and reducing the chances of phytotoxicity. By stabilizing the phosphorous acid phosphite molecule with a proprietary formulation that includes organic acid, Nutri-Phite inhibits reactions with other elements — particularly cations commonly found in tank mixes, such as zinc, iron and manganese — making Nutri-Phite stable in solution, a key advantage for tank-mix compatibility with micronutrients and pesticides. Studies have shown that compared to generic phosphites, Nutri-Phite causes less oxidation, one of the challenges in spray applications of phosphite.

NUTRI-PHITE Application Instructions

This phosphite fertilizer may be applied using all types of ground spraying equipment, soil spraying/injection equipment and through certain types of irrigation systems.

Nutri-Phite phosphite fertilizer is compatible with most commonly used foliar pesticides, chemically neutral fertilizers, and micronutrients. Do not use this product with surfactants or adjuvants that lower pH.

What are Phosphites?

Not to be confused with phosphates PO4, phosphites are a PO3, having one less Oxygen molecule causes Phosphites to be more soluble and reactive than Phosphates, and unless stabilized, can present tank-mix concerns.  Given that Phosphites enhance nutrient uptake and improve plant health, it’s critical to ensure they’re stabilized before use.

Why are Phosphites important for plant growth?

To put it simply, Phosphites enhance plant health and nutrition, and with that comes improved emergence, stand, growth, and — ultimately — higher production yield and quality. 

What benefits does Nutri-Phite phosphite fertilizer supplement provide?

A generic, unstable Phosphite is likely to negatively react with elements often found in tank mixes, such as copper, zinc, iron, and manganese. Nutri-Phite’s proprietary stabilizing formulation results in less oxidation, and the increased nutrient uptake is more available to plants, reducing the risk of phytotoxicity.
