Managing acid and alkaline soils for optimum productivity requires determining the appropriate amendment source and application rate through accurate interpretation of pertinent data on a soil test report and product information provided by the manufacturer.
In this course you will learn:
- Identify pertinent parameters on a soil test report related to soil acidity & alkalinity
- Quantify the distribution of Al+3 or Na+ on the CEC
- Utilize properties of selected lime products to estimate the appropriate lime product rate
