Interim CEO and Board Member
Fred Lynch joined AEA in 2020 as an Operating Partner focusing on value-added industrial products.
Prior to joining AEA Fred served for 12 years as President and CEO of Masonite International (NYSE:DOOR) a leading global building products manufacturer. Fred joined Masonite from Alpharma, a global pharmaceutical company, where he served as President of the Human Generics Division and Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain. Prior to joining Alpharma in 2003, Fred’s career spanned 18 years at Honeywell International (formerly AlliedSignal), most recently as Vice President and General Manager of the Specialty Chemical Business.
Fred serves on the board of Ingevity corporation, a specialty chemical firm (NYSE:NGVT); the board of Process Sensing Technologies (PST), a process sensor and instrument manufacturer; the board of the Burke Porter Group, an engineering design, automation and contract manufacturer servicing medical life sciences and general industrial firms.
He is also a member of the not for profit Moffitt Cancer Center Board in Tampa, Florida, where he chairs the Strategy and Planning committee.
Fred is a native of the Bronx, New York. He received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University and an M.B.A in Finance from Temple University.
