Lenexa, Kan., (Feb. 28, 2023) – Farm Journal’s Trust In Food™ is proud to announce Verdesian Life Sciences has joined America’s Conservation Ag Movement™, one of the largest public-private partnerships solely dedicated to the acceleration of conservation agriculture.

Verdesian is a leader in Nutrient Use Efficiency, the next frontier in plant yield and crop quality. Verdesian provides solutions that enhance crop uptake, reduce nutrient losses to the environment and improve yields for all growers.

“Nutrient optimization is an important management practice for all producers, particularly now as high fertilizer prices are increasing the cost of production,” says Amy Skoczlas Cole, president, Trust In Food. “Producers must be more intentional with their applications, and Verdesian supports a 4R strategy that benefits individual operations, soil health and the health of downstream watersheds. Their partnership fortifies a strong coalition in America’s Conservation Ag Movement.”

America’s Conservation Ag Movement works with USDA’s Natural Resource Conservation Service, the Farm Journal Foundation and 18 private and nonprofit organizations to deliver informational, financial and technical resources to farmers and ranchers to help them evaluate and adopt conservation management practices. The coalition provides producer-led and producer-facing platforms that allow farmers and ranchers to learn from other producers in their regions.

“Our goal is to help producers be sustainably profitable. We firmly believe that through technology and appropriate conservation practices, producers can grow more today and tomorrow,” says Brady Eilers, VP Global Marketing, Verdesian. “Agriculture has both a tremendous responsibility and the power to have major impacts on food security and the environment. By locking hands with Trust In Food and its partners, we know that we are part of a larger coalition that is connected with the agricultural community by investing time, talent and resources to actively address these opportunities.”
