He was also raised on the family farm in that area. He has seen the power of agriculture first-hand – both in his home state and across the world.
For six months following high school, Brandon traveled to New Zealand to work on two farms. Once he returned to the United States, he enrolled at Montana State University, where he would graduate with a bachelor’s degree in plant sciences.
Brandon’s professional career began in the seed treatment industry with Gustafson LLC. He then worked for BASF with roles as a territory business representative, a seed treatment specialist, a Clearfield value chain specialist and, finally, as an innovation specialist. Prior to coming to Verdesian Life Sciences, Brandon worked for a local seed plant as a business development manager developing the Clearfield wheat and seed treatment business.
Today, Brandon leverages that deep-seated agricultural mind and experience as a seed treatments & inoculants business manager here at Verdesian.
“I have worked for large companies and smaller ones, but working for Verdesian has allowed me to bring my talents to the marketplace and create value to my customers,” he says. “I am able to work with our team to implement tools and products that help our farmers from profitability to creating efficiencies.”
Brandon has been happily married for 18 years to Julie Neuman, a pharmacist who specializes in neonatal services at a local hospital. Together they have three daughters: Quinci, Kinlie and Kamri.
“I have been involved with agriculture my whole life. I love it. I wouldn’t change a thing,” says Brandon. “The people in agriculture are the best in the nation. We all strive toward one goal: providing a sustainable affordable safe product to feed the world.”
There is no doubt “Power” in those words.
