Verdesian Life Sciences recently announced organizational moves that further enhances the company’s commitment to providing the best nutrient use efficiency products and technologies to specialty crop growers.

Jason Radford has accepted a new position of Vice President of U.S. Specialty Strategy. Radford had previously spent the past three years as the VP Sales, West Region at Verdesian.  Radford’s career in agriculture spans his lifetime having grown up on a small farm in southern Idaho. Prior to Verdesian, he held various regional leadership positions at UAP, BASF and Simplot over 18 years. Radford is a graduate of Brigham Young University and resides in Middleton, Idaho.

“Over the past three years, Jason has worked diligently to lead our Western Region, providing direction, stability and tremendous momentum,” said Verdesian CEO Kenneth Avery.  “We are excited for his new opportunity here at Verdesian and what it will mean for our customers.”

Steve-Henning-181x300Steve Henning will fill Radford’s shoes as VP Sales, West Region. Henning’s career in agriculture began more than 30 years ago, but his love of ag goes much deeper than that. Henning spent his time as a child shadowing his father in his role as a Georgia Extension Specialist, working with farmers to achieve success in peanut production.  This passion then set Henning on a path that has crossed most of the U.S. and even into international markets.  Henning’s career has touched on sales, marketing and business leadership.

“Steve brings a wealth of experience across many crop segments and varied geographies,” said Avery. “His firm dedication to the customer is the exact type of mentality that we wholeheartedly embrace here at Verdesian, and there’s no doubt our Western region is in good hands.”
