Kuide Qin

Chief Science Officer

Dr. Kuide Qin is the Chief Science Officer at Verdesian Life Sciences, bringing over 20 years of global R&D leadership across crop protection, plant nutrition, biostimulants, and biologicals. He leads a cross-functional team, guiding the development and support of a broad product portfolio in over 33 countries.

Kuide has a strong track record in innovation, strategy, M&A, and IP management, holding 14 U.S. patents and 270 total globally. He previously held leadership roles at Bayer Crop Science and Dow AgroSciences. Kuide earned his Ph.D. in Colloid and Surface Chemistry from the University of Florida and holds additional credentials in soil science and agricultural business management from NC State University and the University of Notre Dame.
