Verdesian and Redox settle patent dispute

Verdesian has licensed the use of the chemical class of compounds known as prolines.

Verdesian Life Sciences U.S., LLC, a leading developer of nutrient use efficiency technologies, announced today that it has resolved its patent infringement lawsuit with Redox Chemicals, LLC, in a confidential settlement agreement on mutually acceptable terms. As part of the settlement, Verdesian has licensed to Redox the use of the chemical class of compounds known as prolines to improve the properties and performance of plants and algae.

“Verdesian is pleased with this settlement, and we look forward to putting this issue behind us,” said Kenneth Avery, Verdesian CEO. “Through this agreement, both companies can create technologies that help farmers produce crops to feed a growing population, something Verdesian is extremely passionate about.”
