CARY, North Carolina – The Association of American Plant Food Control Officials (AAPFCO) has moved to official terms product offerings from Verdesian Life Sciences.

AAPFCO is an organization of fertilizer control officials from each state in the United States, from Canada and from Puerto Rico who are actively engaged in the administration of fertilizer laws and regulations. As the U.S. doesn’t have a national fertilizer law, AAPFCO’s mission is to promote uniformity among the states that register fertilizer and issue fertilizer licenses. A move to official terms from AAPFCO’s governing body broadens the ability for Verdesian products to go on acres in states that require official terms for fertilizer ingredients.

“We are pleased that our technologies have moved to official terms status with AAPFCO,” says Kenny Avery, CEO, Verdesian Life Sciences. “We recognize that this milestone will allow growers across the United States the freedom to add another long-established tool to their sustainable yield management programs.

“I am appreciative of the great work by both AAPFCO and our staff at Verdesian,” continues Avery. “It is because of this tremendous work that farmers and growers across the United States have access to the most progressive, effective and efficient technologies in agriculture.”
