Brad Ferguson is Strategic Products Engagement Manager at Verdesian Life Sciences. Brad has over 18 years of outside sales and management experience in the agriculture industry, serving as vice president of farm services for Northern Quinoa Production Corporation, overseeing all aspects of contract production, and grower field support for Western Canada, business manager/business development manager for Univar Canada Ltd., account representative for Dow AgroSciences Canada Inc. and production manager with BrettYoung Seeds.
Brad grew up on a farm in south-central Manitoba, where his family continues to farm today. He attended the University of Manitoba, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy. Brad and his wife, Jennifer, enjoy the outdoors and spending as much time as possible with their nieces and nephews.

Dale grew up on a mixed farm in the Red River Valley of Manitoba and has worked in the ag industry since 1983. His previous roles include Retail Crop Inputs Manager at TeamLandmark and Richardson, Territory Manager with Monsanto and Novozymes BioAg. Most recently, Dale was a Senior Account Executive with Nexus BioAg in eastern Manitoba.
In his spare time, Dale runs ultramarathons and enjoys backpacking adventures and traveling with his wife, Rhonda. Dale and Rhonda live in Landmark, MB, and have three children and four grandchildren who they spend a lot of time with. The Wohlgemuths are avid Winnipeg Jets and Steinbach Piston hockey fans.

Jeff Wright is Account Manager at Verdesian Life Sciences for US & Canada Seed Treatments and Inoculants, developing retail dealer and grower relationships, training and service of existing and potential clients.
Prior to Verdesian, Jeff was an Area Grain Merchant for Providence Grain Solutions in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. He was a Regional Manager and a Senior Account Executive for Univar Canada in Alberta and British Columbia. He has also worked at BASF in Alberta as a Regional Sales Manager. Finally, he held a number of roles at Cargill Incorporated.
Jeff enjoys fishing, hunting, camping, and generally anything outdoors. He is also an avid hockey fan and golfer, coaching hockey and ringette.

Joe Olesko is an asset to strengthening relationships within our Canadian distribution channels as well as identifying and solving our customers’ unique needs in the area. He joined the team with more than 14 years of sales, marketing and leadership experience in the agriculture industry, representing brands such as Monsanto, Novozymes BioAg and Innovative Ag Products (IAP). He has experience in evaluating new product opportunities, aligning sales objectives with market positions and strategically planning distribution and retail accounts at the field and corporate level. He is an alumnus of the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Agriculture, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Crop Science. Paired with a customer-focused and passionate work ethic, his expertise is key to the success of Verdesian in western Canada.

Serving as a technical development manager, seed treatments & inoculants, Kurt Seevers has spent more than 25 years in various positions, including technical services, agronomy, sales, marketing and product development. Prior to joining Verdesian in 2014, he spent the previous 10 years working with Becker Underwood, most recently as field development leader for seed treatment in the U.S. Kurt transitioned to BASF Corporation with its acquisition of Becker Underwood, working as a senior field biologist with a focus on seed treatment biologicals. Seevers holds a master’s degree in entomology from the University of Missouri. He received his bachelor’s degree, also in entomology, from the University of Nebraska.

Mark was born and raised on mixed grain and cattle farm south of Sturgis, SK. After high school, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007. He also continued to farm. Mark returned home after school and started an independent ag consulting business and continued farming with his wife, Ashley. After several years, Mark and his family moved to northwest Saskatchewan where he managed a crop input facility for Parrish & Heimbecker near North Battleford, SK from 2012 to 2017. Mark moved on as a senior sales agronomist with Yara Canada in 2017, a position he held through this year.
Mark has a son Danny (10) and daughter Kaci (7). He enjoys being on their small farm with his family raising sheep, chickens, alpacas and mini horses. He is very passionate with respect to agriculture and anything regarding plant, animal and human biochemistry and the absolute tying together of all things biochemistry/metabolism. His hobbies include welding, mechanical work, anything circuitry, computing technology, boxing, dirt biking, fishing, hiking, boating with his family on Jackfish Lake …. well anything outdoors, really!

Mike Palermo comes to Verdesian from Sevita International where he was Sales Manager for Western Ontario (and previously Regional Sales and Contracting Manager). Before that he was a Territory Manager for Semican Incorporated. He also has experience with Scotiabank Canada, Arrowhead Meat Limited, Monsanto Canada and Bayer CropScience. Mike is no stranger to Verdesian, having worked as a Summer Sales Intern for most of 2016.
Mike graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture and is currently working on obtaining his MBA. He lives in Barrie, ON, with his girlfriend Sarah and their dog Winston. When not working, Mike likes to be outdoors hiking, camping and boating.

Nicole grew up on a farm in south-central Saskatchewan and she attended post-secondary school in Saskatoon at the University of Saskatchewan. After completing her Agronomy degree, Nicole went on to work in agricultural retail for two and a half years. After working retail, she took a job with Monsanto BioAg as a Territory Sales Manager, where she worked for four years through multiple company acquisitions, ending with Univar Solutions.
Nicole enjoys being outdoors and partaking in hikes, as well as fishing and taking her French Bulldog Moose to the dog park. She also spends quite a bit of time at her family farm located south-west of Radville, where she helps with both the grain and cattle operations.
